BY SNELLING ASSOCIATES IN SURREY: A GOOSE PLUCKING CHAIR: RESTORED AND LOOKING GORGEOUS!

Like everyone, I think that a picture tells a thousand words, so I thought I would provide some images of furniture repairs that we have undertaken recently in Surrey – alongside an example of a piece of furniture pre-restoration!

FROM THE SUBLIME TO THE RIDICULOUS? A BEAUTIFUL LONDON TROLLEY BEING RESTORED

As I have mentioned before, one of the nice things about running an antique restoration business is the variety of items that come to us for repair or restoration.  Quite literally, we move from restoring a chair to repairing the gilt frame on a mirror – to then tackling the French polishing of a large dining room table!  Then there are locks to be replaced and decorative heirlooms to be revitalised, alongside items that have little real commercial value but that mean a great deal to their owners.

COULD THESE REALLY HAVE LOOKED BETTER, WHEN FIRST MADE – I DOUBT IT!

I am proud to say that we always give the same attention to detail to every object that comes into our workshops, irrespective of whether it has value as an antique or not.  That way, the consistency of our work and the quality of our service remain the same.

AWAITING RESTORATION – NOT THE WORST WE HAVE REVITALISED BY A LONG WAY!

If you have furniture that needs repair and you are based in Surrey then do give us a call or come to our workshops.  We are always happy to provide a price for furniture repair and you should never feel worried that we may turn you away because what you have is not an antique.  Indeed, some of our most challenging jobs have involved comparatively new items!
